That is a lot of GB for your iPad. It’s more than my MacBook has to offer. Imagine all the books, apps, and documents you can store on that!
I don’t really get it. I thought Apple, and everybody else and their dog, were trying to get us all to move to “the cloud”. Apple offers a lot of online iCloud (document) storage, iTunes Match and the ability to re-download films you’ve purchased before. The same is true for books and apps. So why would I want a 128GB iPad?
Considering how easy it is to access your files online these days, I can’t think of a single reason why I needed that much internal space available. Maybe if I put a bazzillion-thousand photographs on it, but I can’t imagine that market to be very big enough for Apple to come out with a new iPad model.
“If this 128 GB iPad 4 thing is true, I take it to imply that the iPad 5 isn’t coming until later in the year, and that this is a way for Apple to make a little news, keep the lineup fresh, and raise the bar on tablet storage capacities.”
Or early this morning, depending on there you live ↩
